These aluminum 1st Model Luftwaffe Daggers retain such a nice and bright finish to them! The blade on this one looks good! The stamped knights head "WKC" maker mark is looks good. The crossgrain is easily visible from hilt to tip. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. It has age grey / spotting throughout along with the commonly seen surface scratches. The original blue pebbled leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The wood based blue pebbled, leather scabbard body remains in excellent condition! It has the odd pressure mark/scuff yet it retains 98% coverage and has a near perfect seam! The silvered aluminum scalloped scabbard fittings remain nice and bright. The fittings are tightly secured with all five original screws! The aluminum chain has 9 lower and 7 upper ringlets that ends at a well working "Ges. Gesch. OLC" marked clip. The hilt looks great! The four gold gilded sun wheel swastikas are just beautiful! The grip leather remains in excellent condition! It shows period age wear, scuffs and toning. The triple wire wrap remains tightly intact. A very nice aluminum example fit for your collection!
