Massive single-edged hewer blade (mild age). Reverse etched with Carl Eickhorn 1935-41 logo and TeNo (Technical Emergency Corps) acceptance “Ges. Gesch.”. Obverse etched with “8331”. Exceptionally nice burnished nickel-plated hilt fittings with ivory-colored celluloid grip plates retained by two screws. Black lacquered steel scabbard shows virtually no wear with silver-plated fittings retaining traces of lacquerer. Scabbard throat stamped with matching “8331”. Length 40.5cm.
