An excellent looking late war Parteiabzeichen! These were available for private purchase / given (HJ/BDM) to individuals after they had joined the NSDAP. It is constructed out of a die struck, zinc-alloy base, that has been silver washed and contains red, white and black paint work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: "NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P." on a red backing. The slightly concave reverse shows a horizontally crimped on steel pin that remains in well working condition. The back is also marked "RZM M1/101" (Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen). The paint work is in wonderful condition remaining 98%+ intact. It measures approximately 15/16 of an inch in diameter. An inexpensive item that is great for any collection!
