National Police EM/NCO Visor Cap

Here's a great example of a National Police EM/NCO Visor Cap. The visor is constructed of field-grey wool with a dark brown center-band and a light green (hellgrun) waffenfarbe piping. All of the wool is in excellent condition! The wool has just the odd nip and minor thinning throughout. There are four ventilation holes, two to each side. To the obverse center is the correct silvered aluminum 2nd pattern police eagle insignia and three piece (black cardboard, silver washed tombak and red felt) national tri-color cockade. The black leather chinstrap is secured with two nickel-silver buttons and remains in excellent condition! The visor top has an internal wire stiffener. The black/brown lacquered vulcanfiber visor peek looks great! The interior is lined in a light brown-red oilcloth material. The brown leather sweat-band is in excellent condition, just the odd tear. The top celluloid sweat diamond is lost to time though underneath it, it is maker marked and is sized "58". Nice overall condition!
