Here's a nice Marine Marked 100 x 170 ReichsKriegsFlagge by Berliner Fahnenfabrik Geitel & Co, Berlin. It is constructed out of a red, white and black printed cotton base. The obverse depicts and off centered black mobile swastika on a white roundel with four black/white strips running through it and a black pattée style cross to the top-hoist corner. The reverse depicts a mirror image of the obverse. The hoist end has a stitched on, white cotton re-enforcing edge that has a rope running though the length of it which is looped to each side. The edge is marine marked in red and reads: "Reichskriegsflg. 100/170", "Berliner Fahnenfabrik Geitel & Co Berlin" printed in black ink. The fly end has been folded over and stitched together. The two fly corners have re-enforced 45 degree stitching. There are many holes and soilage throughout. A nicely marked piece!
