Here we have a RAD (Reichsarbeitsdiens) EM/NCO Cap Badge by C. It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been silver washed and contains black and red paint work. The obverse features the RAD logo, which consists of: a black mobile swastika in front of a spade shovel head (that is bordered in red) and is above two outward pointing wheat sheaths. The hollow back reverse is maker marked "C". Both soldered on steel prongs remains intact. The zinc has absorbed the silver wash. It measures approximately 1 ¾ inches wide by 1 ½ inches tall. A fine display piece to add to a RAD or Cap Badge collection!
