Nice early sword at a great price. Look at the hand enhanced details! The blade on this one rates VG/Exc. There is some scuffs and small marks and plating loss as shown. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The blade is nicely marked but sorry impossible to photo hidden up under the languet. This one is illustrated in Angolia reference pg 99. The black anodized scabbard shows lots of wear and wee dents. The drag is drilled with a hole, when done? Who knows. The scabbard throat is secured by two dome head screws. The hilt and P-guard are beautifully detailed hand chiselled brass with honest wear to the high areas. The languet features an open winged hand enhanced eagle. The black celluloid grip has a small crack I blew up for you to see. Three twisted wires remain intact and tightly secured.
