A textbook Horster here! The bright blade is in good condition. It has good crossgrain running the full length of the blade. There’s some minor spotting and evidence of age but all in all clean with a solid fit and the correct double oval maker mark. The blade rates an Exc++. The buffer pad remains intact. The dent-free scabbard in nicely patinaed perfectly matching that of the hilt. It depicts hand enhanced bands and the single throat retaining screw remains intact. The zinc nickel plated crossguard eagle has fine details throughout the eagle’s chest and wings. There is some plating loss throughout. The orange trylon grip looks great!
