Here's a desirable factory removed Röhm SS Dagger by Böker! The blade on this one looks great! The acid etched “Meine Ehere Heisst Treue” motto is beautifully executed. The reverse “In herzlicher freundshaft, Ernst Röhm” inscription has been completely removed and the “Böker Solingen” maker mark remains 75% intact. The crossgrain to the obverse is just beautiful. The fit continues to remain nice and tight and the tip is perfect! The blade rates Exc++. It shows minor age throughout. The steel based, black undented anodized scabbard has lots of factory lacquer remaining. Both solid nickel scalloped scabbard fittings look excellent! The ball retains its round shape (just a few bruises) and all four screws remain intact! The scabbard to crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards match the scabbard fittings in patina, color and condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked “I” (Munich). The black hardwood grip is in wonderful shape! Way better than most! It shows the common pressure marks throughout, but that’s it! The solid nickel eagle has a perfect fit and retains beautiful detail! The SS runes retain 100% enamel and it has perfect fit. Nicely completing this is an early Assmann marked Vertical. A great example of a Ground Rohm SS Dagger!
