Here we have a Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire Police) Meister Enlisted Man’s Tunic for the “Trebel” municipality. It is constructed out of a multi-piece blue wool with rose-red truppenfarbe piping. The wool is in very clean condition. I can only find the slightest scuffs and two holes underneath the one armpit. The tunic has four pockets with buttoned scalloped flaps, the two breast pockets are pleated. There are no holes/loops for awards. The front vertical closure has eight plated steel buttons that are all marked “A & S” (F. W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid) to the underside. The lower edge of the collar, vertical closure edge and top of the french cuffs are all rose-red truppenfarbe piped in purple cloth. The EM collar tabs are hand applied. They have rose-red wool cloth backing with silver flatwire tress columns. The Meister rank shoulder boards are the sew-in type that have been hand applied. They feature a silver-aluminum / brown-chocolate rayon Russian braid above a rose-red wool cloth backing. The oval “Trebel” sleeve eagle is machine embroidered in rose-red rayon over a blue wool and has been hand stitched to the tunic. The back has two stitched on, steel plated belt support buttons above the tail. The interior is lined in black silk-rayon, that is very clean. There is a single pocket on the left side. The interior arms are lined in a white and grey lined silk-rayon. The tunic is a size medium. A long nice clean example!
