Army Infantry Gefreiter EM M36 Dress Tunic

Here we have an Army (Heer) Gefreiter Enlisted Mans M36 Infantry Dress Tunic (Waffenrock). It is constructed out of a multi-piece field-gray and forest green (cuffs and collar) wool with white (infantry) waffenfarbe piping. The wool shows only minor mothing holes, concentrated around the shoulder boards and cuffs, and is otherwise quite clean. There are two award loops to the front of the left chest. The front vertical closure has eight silvered steel pebbled buttons that are all marked "Extra" and "O & Cie" (Overhoff & Cie., Lüdenscheid) to the underside. The lower edge of the collar, both vertical closure edges, the scalloped tail and top of the cuffs are all piped in white waffenfarbe. The EM collar tabs and cuff facings are machine stitched on. They are all constructed out of a white wool cloth covered buckrahm base with silver flatwire tress columns. They all have silvered steel pebbled buttons attached to each piece. The shoulder boards are the sew-on type. They feature a forest green wool cloth backing, surrounded by white waffenfarbe piping and are underneath "105" (regimental number) in white. The breast eagle is machine embroidered in silver-flatwire and forest green cotton stitching over a field gray wool and has been hand stitched to the tunic. The hand stitched on, downward pointing triangular shaped Gefreiter rank chevron in constructed out of a "V" shaped flatwire tress above a forest green wool backing. The reverse tail flap features two stitched on pebbled silvered steel belt ramps to the top along with four pebbled buttons to the base. There is one stitched on green bakelite button underneath the right hand shoulder board. The interior is lined in grey-green silk-rayon that shows only minor sweat stains/soilage and remains very clean! There is a stitched on black/yellow cotton maker mark tag to the top that reads: "Feine Mass-Schneiderei Willi Bastgen Wittlich". There is a single pocket on the left side along with a stitched on grey-green silk-rayon / steel belt assembly. The interior arms are lined in a white and grey lined silk-rayon. The tunic is a size small. A solid piece!
