An honest smaller version (24mm) Goldene Parteiabzeichen! These were awarded to the first 100,000 members who joined the NSDAP without interrupted service since February 27th 1925. It is constructed out of a two piece die struck tombak base that has been gold fire gilded and contains red, white and black enamel work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: "NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P." on a red translucent pebbled backing, has a thin white border that is applied to a golden oak leaf wreath that is tied together at the bottom and is above a lined backing. The full back reverse is stamped with the NSDAP member's number "90343". It also has a soldered on round plate that holds a horizontally placed but broken tombak pin. The plate is marked: "Jos. Fuess München" (Josef Fuess, München).The enamel work is in excellent condition with only minor scratches. The gliding is in good shape with loss only from wear to the high areas. It measures approximately 1 inch in diameter. A great addition to your collection!
