Here we have a Model 1938 Red Cross Officials Dagger! The bright blade on this one is gorgeous! The crossgrain is stunning and runs all the way from ricasso to the perfectly pointed tip! The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates an easy NM/Mint-. There is only the slightest age spotting throughout. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard looks excellent! It has a small amount of oxidization spotting yet retains 95%+ of its plating! It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remain intact! The zinc based, nickel-silver plated crossguard and pommel are both in excellent condition matching the scabbard in color and condition! The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The brass based, nickel-silver plated pommel screw cap is looks good. It shows typical usage wear. The orange/yellow trylon grip is in perfect condition remaining completely crack and chip free! The hilt has a small wiggle to it. Overall this is a great piece you are sure to be happy with!
