Here’s a rare piece. The blade is a plated example is marked Alcoso. It is in NM condition. As opposed to 95% of these long bayonets this one was not cut down during the Weimar period but was made this way. The blade is a bit less hefty than the std issue bayonets and appears more elegant. The scabbard has some age crazing and wear throughout. The stag grip plates are in perfect condition and secured with two unmessed with rivets, and properly pinned with the 2nd pattern eagle, which is quite correct. The nickel plated and burnished bras based nickel plated hilt retains 99% of its factory plating. Comes with a ripped but correct Police frog. You don’t come across these often!
