Here we have a completely correct 4th pattern Eickhorn Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch) that's been personalized! The blade on this one has been shortened, has two nicks to the cutting edge and has been buffed. The acid etched "Original Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The fit is perfect. The blade rates VG/Exc. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free and the original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The lead weight is loose and the screw rubs up against the interior of the crossguard. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated Eickhorn crossguard provides beautiful detail! The reverse is uniquely personalized reading: "K. Diedrich". The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange, trylon grip on this one is wonderful with unique tones! It has minor hits only. The exterior of this piece is really gorgeous and will make for a good display.
