Army M16 Re-Issue Austrian Helmet

Here we have a large combat worn example of a factory re-furbished Austrian Model 1916 Third Reich Re-Issue Single Decal Heer Helm. The unmarked size 66 shell is constructed out of a stamped piece of steel sheet metal that has been green textured pained. The shell has a folded over edge, two separately applied air vents and five rivets (three split and two chin strap attachment rivets). The single Heer decal is in wonderful minty condition! The interior has an aluminum and thick tan brown leather liner that is sized "59". Some paint has blead over to the aluminum liner. To the underside of the leather it is marked "B" (factory replacement) and "59" sizes. The chin strap is unique. I can't see any serial numbers or manufacture markings. The exterior continues to retain 95% of its reissue paint. A large and great piece!
