Here we have an Imperial German Fighting Knife. The blade on this one looks good! It continues to show some of its crossgrain. Has a perfect fit and tip! The blade rates Exc++. It shows the typical age grey and surface scratches throughout. The steel based black painted scabbard is in excellent condition! It remains completely dent free and continues to hold 90%+ of its paint. It is personalized with scratches reading: "BSA". It looks as though there is some glue reminisce around it. The hanger is in great shape with a nicely decorated snap that continues to work well! The leather looks as though someone has etched out a cross to the back. The hilt is steel based and nickel-silver plated. It shows some oxidization spotting throughout. It has the typical eagle head pommel and the faux push button. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are near perfect and are tightly secured with two steel rivets. One that's been there!
