Here we have a highly detailed Army Officers Summer Tunic Breast Eagle! It is constructed out of a die stamped light cupal-alloy base that has been coper flash coated and silver washed. The obverse depicts a Heer eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The hollow back reverse shows a round wire pin, a soldered on nickel-silver hinge and catch assembly that are remain in well working condition. There may have been a bottom prong that broke off. It measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches tall. Potential maker could be S&L. Check out that silver wash!
