A unique combination! The awardee received the 2nd Class Spange (insignia device), Imperial 2nd Class Iron Cross and Eastern Front Medal. Both ribbons are sewn to a black bakelite button that is marked “Solide Elegant”. It measures approximately 1 ½ inches wide. A very nice buttonhole!
