A hefty and solid example! The matte finished blade on this one is in good condition. The acid etched "Arbeit adelt" motto and maker mark are nicely executed. There is age and spotting through out. The black scabbard lacked any finish on arrival so I spiffed it up a bit with some shoe wax. It looks pretty good. It remains completely dent free! The burnished nickel based fittings provide wonderful detail, throughout the RAD logo's and decorative interweaving top patterns! All four screws remain intact although some appear to have been turned, when or why who knows. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect! The alloy based, nickel plated hilt is in good condition. The horn grip has beautifully aged, providing wonderful contrasting yellow/brown colors that only time can create. There are no cracks of chips and they remain tightly secured. A great looking piece that may just be right for your collection!
