Here we have an early case for a 1st Class Iron Cross. It is constructed out of a wood and pressed cardboard base that is covered in a simulated grained black leather. To the front is a multi-piece steel, round spring loaded closure button. To the back is a steel, staggered, piano hinge. To the top is a silvered outline of a 1st Class Iron Cross emblem. The bottom interior of the case is constructed out of a pressed cardboard base that is covered in a pearl white fibrous felt material that outlines the pin, hinge and catch assembly. The interior top is constructed out of a silk like material and has an underlying pad. It shows scuffs and wear throughout. The case measures approximately 3 inches tall and deep and ¾ of an inch thick. The right piece for the guy who needs it!
