NSDAP Political Visor Cap Eagle by RZM M1/47

Here we have a 1939 Pattern NSDAP Political Visor Cap Eagle by RZM M1/47 (Christian Theodore Dicke of Lüdenscheid). It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-silver base that has been copper flash coated and silver washed. The obverse depicts a national eagle with out stretched wings, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The hollow back reverse is maker marked "RZM M1/47" and all three soldered on oval plate, flat wire prongs intact. It shows wear. It measures approximately 1 5/8 inches wide by 1 5/16 inches tall.
