Here we have a 2nd Pattern Airforce EM/NCO Breast Eagle (Luftwaffe Brustadler)! This would be worn on the right breast of most all uniforms. On a blue wool and black backing is a white cotton machine embroidered 2nd pattern Luftwaffe open winged eagle, clutching a mobile swastika in one of its talons. It shows age mothing to the edges. It measures approximately 2 7/8 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. A fine piece to add to any Luftwaffe / Breast Eagle collection!
