Here we have a great unmarked example of the unknown maker: 1.05 IAB! The oval badge is a semi-hollow back, steel based, die struck and silver gilded example. The obverse depicts a rifle and bayonet below a Heer closed winged eagle clutching a swastika within its talons and is surrounded by an acorn and oak leaf wreath. The reverse of the badge is concave. It has the correct, sheet metal hinge, steel catch and pin! They all remain in well working condition. The whole thing, every piece of this is magnetic. The gilding throughout remains in excellent condition! The details look great! A beauty example here for the right collection! See p.30 of "The IAB" by Weber.
