Nicely patinaed example covered in nicotine. This one could use a good cleaning but I do like to leave this stuff how I find it! The 7 ¾ inch single fullered plated blade on this one looks great. The etched "E. Pack & Sohne Solingen" maker mark is nicely executed. The plating rated 99%+. The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates NM. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard looks great! It continues to hold 99%+ paint coverage and remains completely dent free! The original throat retaining screw remains intact and the ball is perfectly round. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated hilt looks great as well. The platting remains 97%+ intact. The black checkered bakelite grip plates are in near perfect condition. Both plates are tightly secured to the hilt with a typical Pack spanner/bolt assembly. The button continues to work well! A great inexpensive way to add to add an edged weapon to your collection!
