A DRL (National Socialist League of the Reich for Physical Exercise/Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen) Breslau Gymnastics and Sports Festival Badge 1938. It is constructed out of a die struck nickel-silver base that has been silver washed and black burnished. The round obverse features a centrally placed mobile swastika above the chest of a DRL closed winged eagle and is all surrounded by “Deutsches Turn-U. Sportfest Breslau 1938”. The full back reverse is maker marked “Rob.Neff Berlin W.35” and has a horizontally soldered on steel pin assembly that remains in well working condition. It measures 1 5/8 inches in diameter. A great piece!
