A quality SA Ground Rohm Dagger by Carl Eickhorn! The blade on this one is beautiful! The entire acid etched "In herzlicher kameradschaft Ernst Rohm" motto is completely factory ground. The "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Carl Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark are all dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain shines quite nicely in the light and can be seen the full length of the blade. The fit and tip are both perfect as well! The blade rates NM. It has just the most minor hints of age and common runner marks. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard is looks great! It has the common oxidization spotting throughout and minor surface scratches yet it remains completely dent free and still holds a nice anodized finish. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great. The ball has a few odd bumps yet it retains a nice round shape. All four screws continue to remain intact. The scabbard to crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "Ho"... can't find it? Look way over to the right in the corner of the grip. Exactly where Ho always stamped these. The hand chased solid nickel crossguards match the scabbard fittings in condition, color and age patina. The brown grained hardwood grip is in excellent shape! It has the odd rub mark but that's it! No cracks, chips or splits. The solid nickel eagle has excellent detail and a perfect fit. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A great opportunity to get yourself an untouched, unopened Rohm SA that was with the Vet's family a couple weeks ago!
