A very elegant and rare find! The etched blade on this one is in minty condition. The tip and fit are both perfect! The etch is very distict and dark. Really cool! The reverse displays the Imperial WKC maker mark. The blade rates NM. The red felt buffer pad remains intact. The black leather scabbard body remains in good condition with two decorative vertical lines and all of the stitching remains intact. The scabbard fittings depict several horizontal decorative lines and end with scalloped edges. The fittings are solid brass and are secured with 2 staples. The hilt is solid brass matching the scabbard fittings in both color and patina. The grip is tightly wrapped in a double twisted wire over a dark black horn grip. The grip is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. The pommel is the correct nickel flaming ball pommel being pierced with the peened over tang at the very top, making this an impossible dagger to disassemble without doing damage. Comes with unique portepee and hangers. Hard dagger to find and you will never find another in this condition.
