Here we have a Bronze Close Combat Clasp by A.G.M.u.K. (1.3.2)! It is constructed out of a die struck zinc-alloy base that has been bronze brennlack finished. The obverse depicts a crossed model 24 grenade and K98 bayonet with oak leaves, acorns and lined rays all beneath a German national eagle. The reverse of the badge correctly displays; a crimped round wire catch, integral hinge and full banjo style pin with a crimped steel blackened backplate. It is also maker marked "Fec. W. E. Peekhause Berlin" and "Ausf. A.G.M.u.K. Gablonz."! The backplate has fallen off and glues back on. The badge depicts beautiful details throughout! It measures 3 7/8 inches wide by 1 inch tall. See pages 70-71 of T. Durante's "The German Close Combat Clasp of World War II". Nice!
