Here we have an early Volksdeutsche Bewegung (Ethnic German Movement) in Luxemburg Membership Badge by Klein & Quenzer. The VdB was a Nazi movement in Luxembourg that flourished under the German-occupied Luxembourg during World War II. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been painted. The round shaped obverse depicts a red pebbled mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: "Heim ins Reich" (Home to the Reich) on a black backing. The slightly concave reverse shows a soldered on round plate that holds a horizontally placed steel pin that remains in well working condition though is bent some. The back is also maker marked "K. & Q." (Klein & Quenzer AG., Idar/Oberstein.). The pin measures approximately 15/16 of an inch in diameter. A great piece!
