Here a rare Wasserschutzpolizei (Water Protection, Harbor and Traffic Control) EM/NCO Belt Buckle! It is constructed out of a die struck/stamped, aluminum-alloy base that has been gold gilded. The obverse roundel depicts a centrally placed embossed mobile swastika on a pebbled circular backing, that is underneath the inscription “Gott mit uns” (God with us) and above a half oak leaf and acorns wreath that is tied together at the bottom. This all lies on a rectangular pebbled background. Reverse has a steel prong assembly and integral catch. All are fully intact and work well. The buckle is in beautiful condition and retains nice detail! It measures approximately 2 7/16 inch wide by 1 7/8 inches high. An excellent, rare example!
