A Kriegsmarine Unterseebootsschule Tellermütze für Mannschaften. It is constructed out of a navy blue doe skin wool, with a black silk and gold gilt machine embroidered cap tally and navy blue piping. The very front features a die stamped, tombak based, gold gilded navy cap eagle above a national tri-color multi piece cockade. There are six navy blue twisted ropes (one to each sides, two to the very back and two on 45 degree angles right near them) that hold the machine embroidered gold and black “Unterseebootsschule” cap tally. The interior has a stitched on leather sweat bank with two stitches to the back. The interior base features a black cotton lining with red stitched on letters and numbers. It also has two stitched on white tags that read: “Reitz”, in red. It continues told hold its black chin cord. There is one hole to the left side of the cap along with several to the tip of the cap tally. It is in great condition.
