The Cadillac of all SS Dagger makers: Boker! The blade on this one has age. The acid etched "Meine Ehre Heißt Treue" motto and "Boker Solingen" maker mark are both nicely executed and provide a good contrast to the bright blade! The fit is perfect. The blade rates Exc/Exc+. It shows age graying and spotting throughout. The scabbard body is steel based and black anodized. It has nice finish. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great. They show minor hits and age toning but that's it. The ball continues to retain its original round shape and all four scabbard screws remain intact. The scabbard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards look excellent. The reverse of the lower fitting is district stamped "I" (Munich). The black died hardwood grip is in great condition! It has honest wear, wee hits and marks that you expect to see on real daggers but no cracks or chips. The solid nickel eagle is wonderfully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SS roundel retains 80% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A quality piece!
