The bright blade on this one looks good. The crossgrain is clearly visible and the fit is tightly secured. The blade rates Exc+. There is some finger print stain and some evidence of cleaning. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, silver plated scabbard looks great! It remains completely dent free and both throat retain screws remain intact! The zinc based, plated crossguard and pommel are both in great condition. Both show 99% plating intact. The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The brass pommel screw cap has some evidence that it's been turned as most of these do. The multi tone deep orange grip has some fine surface cracks and a chip that someone repaired. Overall this is a great piece at a great price.
