A Second Pattern Luftwaffe Obergefreiter Field Division Signals EM Service Tunic (Dienstbluse). It is constructed out of a blue gray wool and grey silk-rayon inseam. The tunic has two pockets with blackened steal pebbled buttoned flaps. The placket has five grey bakelite buttons. There are two award loops to the left chest. The Field Division Signals Obergefreiter rank collar tabs are machine stitched on. They are constructed out of a buckram base that is covered in a green wool, with three pined on silvered Luftwaffe ‘gulls’ and are both piped in brown (signals). The EM rank shoulder boards are the slip-on type. They are constructed out of a blue grey wool base that is piped in brown and attached with a blackened steel pebbled button. The Luftwaffe 2nd pattern breast eagle is constructed out of machine embroidered white cotton stitching to a blue grey wool base that has been hand stitched to the tunic. The left arm features an Obergefreiter rank chevron, which is constructed out of two strips of silver/aluminum wire tress stitched to a blue-grey wool backing. It has been machine stitched to the tunic. The underside of the collar has three smaller black bakelite buttons and a tong to the other side to allow the collar to be lifted up and attached together. The interior is partially lined in a grey silk-rayon, with several holes throughout. There are four pockets with buttons. The left chest has size specifications. Minor wear throughout. It is a small-medium size. A fine piece.
