A Minty Luftwaffe Flight Officer Leutnant Service Tunic (Dienstbluse). It is constructed out of a multi-piece blue-gray wool cloth material. The cloth is in wonderful condition! The tunic has four pleated pockets with silvered aluminum/steel multi-piece pebbled buttoned flaps. The placket has five silvered aluminum/steel multi-piece pebbled buttons. There are two award loops to the left breast pocket along with two loops for a ribbon bar above it. The Flight Leutnant rank collar tabs are hand stitched on. They are constructed out of a buckram base that is covered in a yellow wool with a hand embroidered bullion Luftwaffe gull above a oak leaf cluster with a stitched on bullion twisted rope to the exterior. The Flight Leutnant rank shoulder boards are the sew-on type. They are constructed out of a cardboard base that is covered in a yellow wool backing, with a Russian braid silver-flatwire covered cotton string. The top portion of the collar is lined in a bullion twisted rope. The officer's breast eagle is constructed out of hand embroidered silver bullion/flatwire on a blue-grey wool base that has been hand stitched to the tunic. The interior is lined in grey cotton with two pockets. Above the left breast pocket are size markings. The interior arms are lined in that same grey cotton. The tunic is approximately a size medium. It is very very nice!
