This is the exact cap features on page 112 and 113 of “Einheitsfeldmütze” by D. Fisher & O. Lock. It is constructed out of a tan cotton drillich construction, with a silver bullion piping, that has all been stitched together. The front-center features a stitched on yellow and tan rayon Kriegsmarine eagle above a, tri-color round cockade on a diamond tan backing, both replaced. Each side has two zinc-alloy ventilation grommets. Minor wave to the front center peak. The interior has an olive cotton twill lining. Minor stitching loss to the interior one edge. It is maker marked: “HPC” and size marked: “56”. THE Textbook Example!
