An Issue Case for a Luftwaffen Fliegerschützenabzeichen .The case is constructed out of a wood and pressed cardboard base that is covered in a simulated grained blue leather (Lederimitat). To the front is a round plated steel spring loaded push button. To the back is a plated steel, staggered, piano hinge. To the very top is a silvered foil Gothic style script which reads: “Luftwaffen Fliegerschützen - Abzeichen”. The interior-bottom of the case is constructed out of a pressed cardboard base that is covered in a light blue spray on fibrous felt material that outlines a pin, hinge and catch assembly. The interior top is covered in a purple silk-rayon above a pad. There is typical wear throughout. The case measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide by 3 1/16 inches deep and 1 inch thick. Great for the guy who needs one!
