The plated blade on this one looks good with a bit of darkening. It is etched "Oberleutnant Gunther Prien U47", most likely these were available as Salesman samples celebrating the success of U47. The brass lightning bolt scabbard retains beautiful guiding and almost all the lacquer while remaining completely dent free! The brass crossguard is nicely detailed with the cool looking anchor to either side. The brass navy eagle pommel is also nicely detailed! The orange trylon grip is chip and crack-free! It measures 8 inches long. A beautifully guilted piece here for the taking!
