The case isslighly vaulted in wood and pressed cardboard base, with a simulated, black leather covering. The top features a gold Eastern Peoples decoration with swords. To the front is a spring loaded, steel closure button. To the back is a steel staggered, internal bar hinge. The hinge and the closure button function well. The interior top lid is lined in pearl satin and has an underlying pad. The bottom interior of the case is made of a black flocking and outlines the pin, hinge and catch. The case is in good condition with light surface wear.
