Wow here's one for someone looking for something special! The blade is a beauty with full crossgrain. Really about as good as it ever gets. Rates NM. The ricasso has been nickel-plated as these always are, and the blade is unmarked (just as it should be). The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The nickel plated hilt fittings are in great shape, having only a bit of plating loss but really not too bad at all. Look at the crossguard roundel, see how the background is slightly burnished! Nice and really highlights that eagle! Best of all the reverse roundel has been Jeweler personalized to a Bremen doctor, "Stake Bremen". That's enough to start a research project if you are into that. The pommel screw cover has at some point been turned. The dark orange grip is perfect being one tone darker to the obverse. The scabbard plating coverage is easily 99%. There are no dents or splits. Both throat screws remain intact. T
