Here we have a Non-Members of the Armed Forces Armband. The Non-Members of the Armed Forces (Nicht-Wehrmachtangehrige) Armband was designed for combatants who were not members of the Armed Forces. It is constructed out of a machine embroidered black cotton thread to a yellow cotton backing. The rectangular shaped obverse depicts a black national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons above a yellow rectangular. The top and bottom have the correct yellow chain link re-enforced stitching. No holes or mothing. It measures approximately 7 1/16 inches long by 4 1/16 inches wide. A beautiful example purchased direct from the vet's family!
