A Deutschen Schützenverbandes nichttragbare Siegerplakette. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been copper washed. The obverse features the Roter Sand lighthouse above the waves with clouds in the background surrounded by “Deutscher Schützenverband Gau Nordsee”. The reverse reads: “Meisterschaften des Deutschen Schützenverbandes” surrounded by an oak leaf and acorn wreathe that is tied together at the bottom with a bowtie. The bronze wash has been absorbed by the zinc. It measures 3 15/16 inches in diameter. Heavy. A neat piece!
