Case for a Bronze Spanish Cross/Anti-Partisan Badge

This LDO case was originally created for a Bronze Spanish Cross though per LDO mandate this type of case is also appropriate for Anti-Partisan Badges (Uniformen-Markt, March 1944 issue item 6. | see pg 227 of A. Scapini’s “The Anti-Partisan Badge”). It is constructed out of pressed cardboard base that is covered in a green simulated leatherette. The interior-top has a tan lacquered paper behind a centrally placed, black “LDO” encircled by an oval and rectangle border. The interior bottom features a vaulted cardboard base covered in a blue velvet outlining the pin hinge and catch assembly. The hinge continues to work well. Two of the corners (both lid and base) have been taped together. Minor wear/soil throughout. It measures 3 1/8 inches wide and deep and 7/8 of an inch thick.
