A Teilnehmermedaille “Deutsche Kampfspiele Nürnberg 1934” im Etui. A participants medal, commemorating the “German Fighting Games” competition held in Nürnberg in 1934. It is constructed out of a die porcelain base that has been red-tan painted and gold gilded. The round shaped obverse features a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons above the city of Nürnberg, surrounded by “Deutsche Kampfspiele Nürnberg 1934”. The reverse is centrally maker marked. It measures 2 inches in diameter. The non portable table medal comes housed in its original issue case. The inside of the lid is marked “Gegeben von der stadt Nurnberg”. Not hard to find the award along, much harder to find it with its issue case!
