An Ice Sport Event - 1936 Olympic Games Non-Portable Award by Robert Neff of Berlin. It is constructed out of a die struck nickel silver base that has been silver washed and black burnished. The rectangular shaped obverse features a DRL style Eagle with a mobile swastika on its chest clutching the Olympic rings in its talons flanked by two rows of laurel leaves and berries, all above “Olympische Spiele 1936” and “ Eissportueranstaltungen im Berliner Sportspalast 8.-16. August”. The full back reverse is maker marked: “Rob. Neff Berlin W 57”. It measures 3 inches wide by 4 inches tall. The award comes housed in its appropriate matching issue case. A unique piece!
