A Tagged – Hitler-Jungend Kampfbinde by A4/52. This is the official Hitler Youth armband pattern that was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all Hitler Youth uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of machine embroidered black cotton thread stitched to a white cotton diamond, which is stitched to a red and white cotton backing. The rectangular shaped obverse features a separately applied and centrally placed black mobile swastika that is stitched to a white square diamond and is in front of a white centrally placed horizontal line and a red cotton backing. The top and bottom have chain link re-enforced stitching. The back has been stitched together to size. The interior features a glued on rectangular RZM paper tag that is maker marked A4/52. It measures approximately 7 1/4 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall. It’s beautiful with only minor soilage and resin from a tag. A great piece for any HJ / armband collection!
