2nd Pattern - SS Ärmelhoheits Abzeichen. It is constructed out of machine embroidered silver/white cotton stitching to a black wool base. The obverse features an SS eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons. The eagle's silver/grey thread color remains in great condition and wonderfully contrasts the black base. Typical thread fraying. It measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall. A great piece!
