A Saar Swastika Tinnie 1935 by Deschler & Sohn of München 9. It is constructed out of two pieces of die stamped tombak/aluminum have been bronze washed and silver washed. The obverse depicts a large mobile swastika that reads “1. März” to the top arm and “1935” to the lower. This is then behind an outline of the Saarland state with an embossed "Saar" on it. The reverse shows a hollow back, has two prongs that hold the “Saar” insignia in place and has a soldered on well working tombak pin. It is also maker marked: “Deschler München 9” It measures approximately 1 3/8 inches wide and tall. A great piece!
