Here we have a Deutsches Jungvolk Koppelschloß that was introduced in 1933. It is constructed out of a single piece of die struck brass that has been copper flash coated, nickel-silver plated. The rectangular shaped obverse features a centrally placed bronze Sigrune (The Deutsche Jungvolk emblem) which lies on a smooth silvered backing. The reverse has a soldered on brass based catch and plated steel pin/post sleeve and prong assembly. It shows typical surface scratches throughout. The plating remains 96%+ intact. It measures approximately 2 ½ inches wide by 1 7/8 inches tall. A nice and desired piece!
